D-CON Light Paintcleaner, Iron Remover & Wheelcleaner

D-CON Light Paintcleaner is a pH-balanced liquid that reacts chemically with iron particles embedded in paint, glass and wheels. On contact with iron oxide the formula turns deep burgundy red, giving you a clear visual cue that it is actively working. Brake dust, flying rust, industrial fallout and insect residue dissolve without any abrasive action or mechanical force. After rinsing, the surface is primed for the clay stage with far less effort required. The formulation works on wet and dry surfaces, making it a flexible first step in any decontamination routine. One 1000 ml bottle treats the full exterior including glass and alloy wheels multiple times.

How to use

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose dirt before applying. (A clean surface lets D-CON Light work directly on bonded iron particles without loose debris interfering.)

2. Mist D-CON Light evenly over paint, glass or wheels. The product works on both wet and dry surfaces.

3. Allow 1 to 2 minutes dwell time and watch for the burgundy red colour change as iron particles are dissolved.

4. Rinse thoroughly with water, dry the surface, then proceed to the clay bar stage for a complete decontamination.

Once rinsed, your paint is free of iron particles and ready for the next stage. Follow up with Bilt-Hamber Auto Clay Medium to remove any remaining mechanical contaminants.
