Bilt Hamber Auto-Clay Medium tackles embedded contamination that washing can never remove: tar, tree sap, brake dust, iron fallout, and industrial deposits. After claying you feel the difference immediately with the finger test: the paint glides smooth instead of feeling rough. The bar weighs 200g and covers 4 to 5 full treatments.

How it works

This is a Medium grade clay bar, suited to regularly maintained vehicles with average contamination. Bilt Hamber sets itself apart because you only need water as lubricant, no quick detailer or clay spray required. The lighter Soft grade suits freshly painted vehicles; the heavier Regular grade suits heavily neglected paintwork.

How to use

1. Wash the car thoroughly and keep the surface wet (Remove loose dirt with shampoo first. The clay bar only works on wet paint, never on a dry surface)

2. Divide the bar into 4 pieces and knead one piece flat in your palm (Warm the piece briefly in your hands until pliable. Work on a section of approximately 40x40cm at a time)

3. Mist the surface with water and move the clay back and forth with light pressure (Never in circles. Feel the resistance decrease as contamination releases. Fold and re-knead after each section)

4. Wipe the section dry with a microfiber towel and apply protection immediately (Freshly clayed paint attracts contamination quickly. Apply wax, sealant, or coating as soon as possible after claying)
