The Tornador Shine Blue Clay Bar Light is a soft detailing clay of 200 grams, designed for paint, glass and chrome surfaces with light contamination. Light rust, tar, tree resin, insect residue and overspray are mechanically removed without chemical aggression. The result is a smooth, glass-like surface ready for polish or coating. Always use a clay lubricant or diluted shampoo as a glide medium to eliminate the risk of scratching.

How to use

1. Wash the car thoroughly first to remove loose dirt particles. (Use a two-bucket method or snow foam pre-wash to eliminate larger debris before working with the clay.)

2. Knead a piece of clay flat (about 50 grams) and spray the surface generously with clay lubricant or diluted shampoo. (Never work without lubricant: the clay will drag roughly over the paint and cause light scratches.)

3. Move the clay in straight lines over the surface with light pressure. (You will feel resistance on contaminated areas: this decreases as the clay picks up the contamination. Fold the clay regularly to expose a clean face.)

4. Remove the remaining lubricant with a clean microfiber towel and proceed to polish or coating. (Check the surface with your hand: a smooth, glass-like feel means the contamination has been completely removed.)

Prepare your paint for the next step: pair with a Menzerna polish for depth and gloss, a microfiber towel to remove lubricant residue, and finish with a Bilt Hamber wax for months of protection.
