Not every product goes equally far. A is applied thinly and sparingly with a , while a is misted over a larger area. That is why the calculator uses a separate usage rate per product.
The surface matters too. The bodywork paint is far larger than the glass, wheels or tyres, so for those parts you calculate with a smaller area. The calculator scales automatically with your car size.
For most products one pack is more than enough for a whole car. Only with small coating bottles of 30 or 50 ml does the size matter, and a large van sometimes needs a second.
