Fabric seats and upholstery catch everything: sand, food, hair, dust and liquids. The good news is that fabric is easy to clean as long as you act quickly on stains and don't grind dirt deeper by rubbing too hard. With the right cleaner and a soft brush, you can get excellent results.

For stubborn grime that's worked deeper into the fibres, a foam cleaner or extraction machine outperforms a surface spray. Both methods are practical for home use in most cases.
