What is the difference between a tornado and a regular blow gun?

A blow gun directs a straight air stream and is intended for removing dust and water. A tornado creates a rotating vortex flow that simultaneously injects a liquid or foam, which is much more effective for cleaning interiors and seams.

What is the minimum air pressure I need for a tornado?

Most tornado tools work optimally at 5-6 bar working pressure. A compressor with a 24-50L tank delivering 6-8 bar is sufficient for intermittent use; for continuous work choose a larger tank or compressor with higher capacity.

Can I also use a tornado for exterior cleaning?

Yes, for specific applications such as cleaning grilles, door handle recesses and emblems a tornado works excellently. For large surfaces a foam cannon with a pressure washer is more efficient.

Which cleaning product do I use in a tornado?

Use an APC (all-purpose cleaner) suitable for the material you are cleaning, fabric, leather, vinyl or plastic each require a different dilution. Never use it undiluted, tornados atomise the product and too strong a concentration damages the surface.

Is compressed air safe to use around electronics in the interior?

Yes, provided you blow dry (water separator!) and keep the pressure low. Do not shake condensation directly onto connectors or screens. Direct the air flow from the opening outward, not into the device.
