Bilt Hamber Korrosol

Bilt Hamber Korrosol is a pH-regulated fallout remover that chemically converts and dissolves embedded metal particles, brake dust and rail dust without any mechanical action on the paintwork. The product is non-acid and non-alkaline, making it safe for lacquered exterior panels and alloy wheels when used correctly.

After spraying onto the paint the product reacts with a visible colour change (purplish tint) as soon as it contacts metal contamination. That colour shift confirms the chemical reaction is active. Horizontal panels such as the bonnet, roof and boot lid are most susceptible to iron fallout. Available in 1 L (including trigger sprayer), 5 L and 25 L for home detailers and professional use alike.

How to use

1. Pre-wash the car with shampoo and rinse off. (Removing loose dirt ensures optimal contact with the paintwork. The car can be wet or dry at application.)

2. Spray Korrosol onto the paint and wheels, starting with horizontal panels. (Bonnet, roof and boot lid collect the most fallout. Cover the surface evenly without rubbing in.)

3. Wait for the colour reaction to appear (purplish tint). (Reaction speed depends on contamination level and ambient temperature. Allow to dwell until complete but never let it dry on the surface.)

4. Rinse thoroughly with water or a pressure washer. (Make sure all product is removed. After decontamination you can clay bar the paint or move straight on to paint protection.)
