Mirka Polarstar SR5 Sanding Disc 32mm P3000 (100-Pack)

The Mirka Polarstar SR5 is a 32mm micro sanding film for wet sanding during spot repair. Use it to correct small paint defects and remove dust particles from topcoats and clear coats, by hand or on a sander. The polyester film backing with PSA adhesion is water resistant and uses resin-on-resin bonding for a consistent scratch pattern. At a fine P3000 grit (5 micron), it handles the final step before polishing without adding new scratches. Part of Mirka's energy-saving Polarstar line, produced with a low carbon footprint.

How to use

1. Wet the surface and the sanding disc generously with water before you begin sanding

2. Sand lightly over the corrected area to remove the last fine imperfections

3. Rinse with clean water and check that the surface feels completely smooth and even

4. Dry the surface thoroughly and polish it for the final, long-lasting gloss

Finish the area after sanding with the Rupes DA Fine Cut and a Lake Country CCS polishing pad for an even gloss.
