Mirka Mirlon Total Gold Non-Woven Abrasive Roll 115mm x 10m P2500

Mirlon Total Gold is Mirka's flexible non-woven abrasive on a roll, developed for areas a regular disc struggles to reach. Compared to standard Mirlon, Total Gold is more aggressive and has a more open structure, while the material itself is thinner. Thanks to reinforced fibres and the way the grain is anchored in the material, it still works efficiently. The result is a fine, even scratch pattern that polishes out easily afterwards, making Total Gold well suited to spot repair and local corrections. Because the material is flexible, you fold or cut a piece to size and apply it by hand or on a sanding block around trim, mirror bases and other corners a rigid disc cannot reach. P2500 is the finest grit in this roll, meant for the last sanding step right before polishing. The roll is 115mm wide and 10 metres long, enough for many separate repairs.

How to use

1. Cut a piece to size (Cut a section from the roll that suits the area you are working on, slightly larger so it is easy to hold.)

2. Clean the area (Degrease the spot thoroughly so dirt and wax do not clog the abrasive prematurely while you sand.)

3. Sand by hand or on a block (Work with light, even pressure in overlapping motions, especially around corners and trim a disc cannot reach.)

4. Wipe clean and polish (Remove all sanding dust with a clean microfiber towel and finish the spot with a fine polish for an even shine.)

Smooth out spots with the Mirka Shark Blade before sanding and finish with Koch-Chemie Micro Cut and Finish.
