Mirka Gold Soft Sanding Disc 150mm P800 (20 pieces)

Gold Soft is Mirka's foam backed sanding pad, developed to matte clear coat for even adhesion. The optimal foam thickness and the soft edge of the pad follow contours and profiles without causing edge damage, something a rigid disc is more prone to. The semi-open grain coating keeps dust off better, so the disc stays sharp longer and clogs less quickly. The resin on resin bonding system holds the aluminium oxide grain firmly in place, even during extended use. P800 is the grit you use to matte clear coat before repainting or finishing a repair, giving a fine and even surface to build on. The 150mm disc has 15 holes and a hook and loop attachment, suitable for most random orbital sanders with dust extraction. Each pack contains 20 discs.

How to use

1. Clean and degrease the panel (Make sure the surface is completely free of dirt, wax and silicone, so the disc does not clog prematurely.)

2. Mask adjacent areas (Protect edges, trim and plastic parts carefully with masking tape so you can work precisely on the panel.)

3. Matte the clear coat (Sand dry with light, even pressure in overlapping passes until the whole surface feels uniformly matte.)

4. Clean up and continue (Remove all sanding dust with a clean microfiber towel before repainting or finishing the repair.)

Mask off adjacent panels with 3M professional masking tape and work hygienically with Colad nitrile gloves while matting.
