ScanGrip MiniMatch Detailing Lamp

The ScanGrip MiniMatch is a rechargeable LED hand lamp with a high CRI rating, so colors under its light look the same as they do in daylight. Handy for judging paintwork, polishing results or interior details, where the wrong light color can easily mislead you. The lamp has two brightness levels, a high setting for maximum output and a lower setting for extended use.

To prevent LED overheating, the MiniMatch automatically switches down to the lower setting after a few minutes at full power. The base has a built-in magnet, strong enough to hold the lamp on metal surfaces without damaging the paint, even while polishing. The top features a swivel hook so you can aim the light exactly where you need it. The housing is dust and water resistant to IP65, suitable for workshop use.

How to use

1. Fully charge the lamp before first use. (A full charge gives the longest runtime on the high setting.)

2. Attach it to a metal surface with the magnet, or hang it using the swivel hook.

3. Pick the brightness level that fits your task, high for short, intense inspection work, low for longer sessions.

4. Aim the lamp at a low angle across the surface to reveal swirls and small imperfections clearly. (Raking light shows up unevenness that's easy to miss under direct light.)

Pair the MiniMatch with a Mirka DEROS sander and a Menzerna compound for focused paint checks during correction.
