ScanGrip StarMatch Polishing Lamp

The ScanGrip StarMatch is an LED work light that mounts directly onto your polisher, so you never need separate lamps or stands again. Every professional detailer knows that good lighting is essential for spotting swirls, imperfections and scratches precisely while polishing. With a curved light beam and rechargeable battery, the StarMatch creates ideal working conditions for intensive polishing work. It delivers wide 180 degree illumination with two brightness levels and five colour temperatures between 2500 and 6500 Kelvin, adjusted through a practical interface that makes switching settings easy. Thanks to the ultra high CRI+ LED, you see colours and surface detail accurately, which matters when judging paintwork. The lamp is IP64 rated against dust and splashing water and runs 5 to 10 hours on a full charge. A mounting bracket for RUPES polishers is included, so you can start right away.

How to use

1. Attach the StarMatch to your polisher securely using the included bracket. (Check the click is fully seated before you start polishing.)

2. Fully charge the lamp before starting a long polishing session. (A full charge gives you up to 10 hours of work light, depending on brightness.)

3. Pick the colour temperature that suits your paint colour: lower for light colours, higher for dark colours. (This makes scratches and holograms stand out faster under the light.)

4. Set the brightness level through the practical interface and work the panel systematically. (You spot imperfections immediately as the wide beam moves along with the machine.)

Pair the StarMatch with a Krauss A75 battery polisher, a Lake Country CCS pad, Menzerna compound and an AC Delco backing plate for a complete polishing setup.
