Lake Country CCS Polishing Pad Orange

The orange Lake Country CCS pad is the most versatile pad in the range. Its higher foam density provides just enough cut to remove moderate swirls, light scratches, and holograms while building a clear finish at the same time. CCS pockets keep the product active on the paint surface longer. Use this pad as the second step after yellow, or as the first step on paint that does not need heavy cutting.

How to use

1. Apply 3-4 dots of polish to the pad (Use a medium-cut polish or light compound depending on the severity of defects.)

2. Spread the product at low speed (Press the pad flat on the panel and start the machine at 1,000 rpm.)

3. Polish with moderate pressure in overlapping passes (Increase to 1,500-2,000 rpm for the working step until the compound clears.)

4. Finish with the white or black pad (The orange pad leaves a light haze that the white pad removes.)

Pair this pad with Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500, a compatible backing plate, and Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 1000 for heavier correction steps.
