Mirka's Abranet Ace sanding net combines an open mesh structure with extra-fine P1000 grit, the final step before machine polishing. Because sanding dust is extracted evenly across the entire mesh instead of through a handful of holes, the net clogs far less than classic sandpaper. That means consistent cutting power for longer, and a noticeably cleaner workspace when paired with a vacuum sanding system.

The open structure keeps surface temperature lower, preventing overheating of both the net and the paint, important at this finest sanding stage where every stroke counts. Abranet Ace is the upgraded version of the original Abranet and lasts longer under comparable use. The net has a hook-and-loop backing and fits 150mm sanders with multi-hole extraction. Pair the net with a dust extractor whenever possible, it keeps cutting power steady right up to the last net in the box.

How to use

1. Attach the sanding net to the backing pad of your orbital or DA sander (150mm, multi-hole) and line up the holes with the extraction pattern.

2. Connect the sander to a dust extractor or vacuum sanding system for the best result at this finest sanding stage.

3. Sand with minimal pressure in short, overlapping strokes. (Let the machine do the work, forcing it doesn't give a faster result at P1000.)

4. Move straight on to polishing once the surface feels evenly fine and matte all over. (If a glossy spot remains visible anywhere, sand that zone a little longer.)

Finish the job with a Koch-Chemie Micro Cut polish and a Chemical Guys Hex-Logic pad for a mirror-smooth result.
