Mirka Abralon Sanding Pad P1000

The Mirka Abralon P1000 is a professional sanding pad built from a flexible cloth-on-foam construction. This design creates an even sanding pattern on both flat and curved surfaces, with less risk of pressure marks than rigid pads. The open weave lets water and air pass through freely, so you can sand wet or dry, by hand or machine. Use P1000 as a follow-up step after a coarser grit: it refines sanding marks and prepares the surface for even finer grits toward a polish-ready finish. Suitable for paint, aluminum, steel, plastic, composite and glass.

How to use

1. Click the pad onto your machine or hand block using the hook-and-loop attachment, centred on the plate.

2. Choose wet or dry sanding depending on the material and the previous step.

3. Move with light, even pressure in overlapping passes across the surface.

4. Check regularly that marks from the previous grit have fully disappeared.
