Mirka Abralon Sanding Pad P2000

The Mirka Abralon P2000 is a fine sanding pad with a flexible cloth-on-foam construction, developed for smooth and profiled surfaces. It creates an even, fine sanding pattern and minimizes the risk of pressure marks, even on curved shapes and edges. The open weave lets water and air pass through freely, so both wet and dry sanding are possible, by hand or machine. Use P2000 to remove orange peel or light imperfections before polishing, needing only a minimal amount of compound afterward. Suitable for paint, aluminum, plastic, composite and glass.

How to use

1. Attach the pad to your polisher or hand block using the hook-and-loop backing, centred on the plate.

2. Work wet where possible, with enough water to keep the surface moist.

3. Sand with light, even pressure in crossing, overlapping passes.

4. Rinse off regularly and check whether the orange peel or imperfection is gone.

After wet sanding, move on to the Liquid Elements T4200 polisher and Koch-Chemie compound for an even, glossy finish.
