Koch Chemie CLS Clay Spray

Koch Chemie CLS Clay Spray is a lubricant specially formulated to reduce friction while claying paint. The spray creates a smooth, non-stick surface over which a clay bar, clay block or clay mitt glides easily, without damaging the paint. That matters, because claying without enough lubrication considerably raises the risk of micro scratches. The spray contains light reflecting components that form an ultra thin layer, keeping the clay working efficiently and evenly even on freshly washed or sealed paint. Claying itself is less aggressive than polishing or sanding, and pulls embedded dirt, road tar, industrial fallout and bug residue out of the paint that a regular shampoo cannot remove. Use the spray whenever you like, but you get the most benefit right before washing or polishing your car, so you start from a truly smooth, clean base.

How to use

1. Wash the car first with a pH neutral shampoo and rinse thoroughly (Claying dirty paint drags loose grit along and causes scratches)

2. Spray a small section of roughly half a metre with CLS Clay Spray (Work in small sections so the spray cannot dry out)

3. Move the clay bar or clay mitt back and forth over the wet area with light pressure (Spray again as soon as the surface starts feeling less slick)

4. Dry the treated section with a clean microfibre towel and repeat per panel (Wash or polish the paint afterwards for the best bond of wax or coating)
