Koch Chemie RKR Claybar Red is a medium grade clay bar made for moderate to heavy contamination on your paint. Where fine clay grades fall just short, this red clay grips iron particles, tar and stubborn industrial fallout that a regular wash never removes. The distinctive red color shows you right away which areas you have already clayed, so you never miss a spot or go over it twice. Wet the surface with a clay lubricant or a mix of water and car shampoo and let the clay glide over the paint without pressing down. You will feel the resistance drop as the surface gets cleaner. RKR is durable and can be reused several times depending on how much contamination it picks up during the session. After treatment the paint is thoroughly cleaned and fully ready for the next step, whether that is polishing, wax or a coating.

How to use

1. Wash and dry the car thoroughly before you start (Only clay a clean paint surface to avoid rubbing loose dirt into the finish)

2. Wet a small section of paint with clay lube or a water and shampoo mix (The surface needs to feel properly wet and slippery before you start claying)

3. Let the clay glide back and forth over the wet surface without pressing (Knead the clay regularly and fold the contaminated side inward each time)

4. Wipe dry with a microfiber towel and repeat section by section (Replace the clay once it feels too dirty or has been dropped on the ground)
