D-CON Detailing Clay Bar Paint Clay Grey Heavy 100g

The D-CON Detailing Clay Bar Grey Heavy is a coarse clay for heavily soiled surfaces: stubborn flash rust, overspray, rail dust, brake dust and other bonded particles a regular wash cannot remove. You glide the clay across paint, glass, plastic or metal with a lubricant, and immediately feel the surface turn smoother, ready for a swirl-free polish. Always use the clay wet: spray a generous layer of lubricant onto the panel first, then move the clay back and forth with light pressure until you feel no more resistance. Without enough lubricant the clay can run dry and leave fine, gummy streaks known as marring, so always test a small spot first. This coarse Heavy grade is meant for heavily soiled surfaces; for regular maintenance the same D-CON line also offers a milder Medium and Light grade.

How to use

1. Wash and dry the panel thoroughly (Remove loose dirt first, the clay is meant for bonded particles)

2. Spray a generous layer of lubricant on a small section (Work in sections of roughly 30 by 30 cm)

3. Glide the clay back and forth over the wet surface with light pressure (Once resistance fades that section is clean; knead the clay regularly)

4. Wipe the panel with a clean microfibre towel and repeat per section (Check for marring and remove it with a fine polish)
