Koch Chemie RKB Claybar Blue Fine 200g

Koch Chemie RKB Claybar Blue is a fine grade clay bar that lifts bonded contamination from your paint that a regular wash cannot remove. Think of rail dust, industrial fallout, tar and tree sap that stick to the surface and leave the paint feeling rough. The fine texture of this clay grade is gentle enough for regular use with minimal risk of marring, while still cleaning thoroughly. Wet the paint with a clay lubricant or a mix of water and car shampoo and rub the clay over the surface with light pressure. You will feel the resistance drop as the paint gets cleaner, until the clay glides smoothly. After claying, the paint feels smooth again and is ready for polishing, wax or a coating. Do not use the clay dry and knead it regularly so the picked up contamination does not get rubbed back onto the paint.

How to use

1. Wash and dry the car thoroughly first (Only clay a clean paint surface, otherwise loose dirt gets rubbed straight into the finish)

2. Wet a small section of paint with clay lube or a water and shampoo mix (The paint needs to feel properly slippery before you start claying)

3. Rub the clay back and forth over the wet surface with light pressure (Knead the clay regularly and fold the dirty side inward)

4. Wipe the surface dry with a microfiber towel and repeat section by section (Discard the clay once it has been dropped or has become too dirty)
