This Ultimate Softness backing plate from Chemical Guys is built for rotary polishers with an M14 connection. The 125mm plate has a soft foam layer that gives you smooth, even movement of your polishing pad across the paint. That makes steering more comfortable and helps you work more precisely when removing swirls and light paint defects. The plate mounts straight onto the M14 shaft of your machine and is also available in 75mm and 150mm for other jobs. Suitable for professional use and spot-polishing.

How to use

1. Screw the backing plate firmly onto the M14 shaft of your rotary machine.

2. Attach your polishing pad straight onto the backing plate.

3. Start the machine on low speed and work evenly across the whole panel, without lingering too long in one spot.

4. Clean the backing plate with a dry microfiber cloth after every use.

Pair it with a Lake Country CCS polishing pad and a Koch-Chemie polish for a complete rotary polishing system.
