Koch Chemie Heavy Cut H9.01 is a coarse cutting compound for quickly reworking heavily weathered paint. The silicone-oil-free formula has a high cut rating and removes deep scratches, oxidation and overspray, correcting sanding marks up to 1200 grit. Thanks to its homogeneous abrasive grain you get high paint removal with a decent gloss level, without the product drying out or caking on the pad too soon. Work it with a rotary polisher paired with a lambswool pad for sanding marks between 1200 and 2500 grit, or a Heavy Cut foam pad for 2000 to 5000 grit. Spread a thin layer over the pad, work at medium speed and medium pressure in a cross pattern over small sections, then wipe with a clean microfiber towel. The compound produces little dust or spatter and stays workable for a long time, giving you room to fully correct the defect before switching to a finer polish for finishing. Suitable for paint on cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles, both soft and scratch-resistant finishes.
1 bottle of Koch Chemie Heavy Cut Polish H9.01, 250 ml, silicone-oil-free cutting compound for machine application.

Corrects sanding marks up to 1200 grit with a rotary polisher
Silicone-oil-free, suitable for soft and scratch-resistant paint on cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles

Pair with lambswool (1200-2500 grit) or foam pad (2000-5000 grit), then finish with a finer polish for the final gloss
Spread a thin layer of Heavy Cut H9.01 over the pad (Choose a lambswool pad for marks up to 2500 grit or a foam pad for 2000-5000 grit)
Work at medium speed and medium pressure in a cross pattern (Treat sections of around 30 by 30 centimeters at a time)
Check the result and repeat on remaining defects (Wipe with a microfiber towel in between to judge the effect)
Finish with a finer polish for the final gloss (Heavy Cut leaves a good gloss level, but not a mirror finish)
Pair it with the Koch Chemie lambswool polishing pad and a D-CON backing plate, and prep the panel first with Koch Chemie PPS Panel Preparation Spray.
