D-CON Backing Plate Rupes BigFoot 15/21 & Krauss S15/21

The D-CON backing plate allows the pad holder to spin freely relative to the machine head of your Rupes BigFoot or Krauss DA polisher. Without it, the machine can vibrate or lock up under pressure, ruining your polishing results. At 1 mm thick, it adds negligible weight and does not affect balance at all. For Rupes BF15 and BF21, using two plates simultaneously is recommended for the best results.

How to use

1. Remove the polishing pad from the machine head.

2. Place the backing plate(s) between the machine head and the pad holder. (For Rupes BF15/BF21: use 2 plates for the best result.)

3. Reattach the polishing pad and confirm the backing plate spins freely. (Turn it by hand to check for resistance before switching on the machine.)
