Rupes Gel Abrasivo Mille Coarse

Rupes Gel Abrasivo Mille Coarse is the coarse correction gel for the Mille system, the gear-driven polishing technique built around the LK 900E machine. The color coding lines up directly with the matching Mille foam pad, so you pick the right level within the BigFoot range at a glance. The Mille system bridges the gap between a classic rotary and a dual action machine: you get the power of gear drive with less scratch risk than a traditional rotary. The lubrication base is tuned to that forced-rotation motion, so the gel spreads smoothly across the panel without drying out too soon. Thanks to the longer working time you also cover larger panel surfaces in one pass, and the gel stays tolerant across a range of climates and most paint types. Use this compound as the first correction step for moderate to heavy scratches, oxidation or dull paint, before moving on to a finer Mille polish for the gloss finish. Available in 250ml and 1 liter.

How to use

1. Attach a coarse Mille foam pad to the LK 900E and place a few dots of gel on the pad. (Spread the gel across the panel at low speed first.)

2. Then work at a higher speed in sections of around 40 by 40 centimeters. (Let the pad do the work, don't add extra pressure.)

3. Wipe off the residue with a microfiber towel once the gel turns clear. (Check the panel for any remaining scratches or oxidation.)

4. Follow up with Gel Medio Mille for the finer finishing step. (This removes holograms and brings back the gloss.)

Pair it with the blue Rupes DA foam pad, a backing plate for the Bigfoot system and a thick Workhorse microfiber towel to wipe off the residue.
