Rupes Gel Abrasivo Rotativa Coarse

Rupes Gel Abrasivo Rotativa Coarse is a coarse, water soluble compound made specifically for the classic spinning motion of a rotary polisher such as the Rupes LH19E. The abrasive particles from the BigFoot line remove scratches and oxidation quickly, while the compound builds up a high gloss at the same time. Use this first correction step on paint that shows moderate to heavy defects, such as dull paint, scratch lines or oxidation after years outdoors. Because the residue is water soluble, you wipe it off easily with a damp microfiber towel, without leaving stains behind. On a rotary, always work in overlapping passes and keep the machine moving constantly to avoid heat buildup and holograms. After this coarse correction step, follow up with Gel Medio Rotativa and a softer pad to remove any remaining holograms and finish the paint to a mirror shine. Available in 250ml and 1 liter.

How to use

1. Attach a wool or coarse foam rotary pad and place a few dots of gel on the pad. (Spread it across the panel at low speed first.)

2. Work in overlapping passes at medium to high speed. (Keep the machine moving constantly to avoid heat buildup.)

3. Wipe off the residue with a damp microfiber towel. (Check the panel for any remaining scratches or oxidation.)

4. Follow up with Gel Medio Rotativa and a softer pad for the finish. (This removes holograms and brings back the mirror shine.)

Pair it with a lambswool polishing pad, prep the panel first with Koch Chemie PPS Panel Preparation Spray, and check your work under a bright inspection lamp.
