Rupes Gel 2 Quarz Abrasivo Medio

Rupes Gel 2 Quarz Abrasivo Medio is the second step of the BigFoot 4-step gel system, developed for dual action polishers. Where Gel 1 Zephir tackles the heaviest scratches, this medium abrasive gel targets wash-induced scratches, water damage and oxidation up to P2500 grit, without the halos and holograms that other medium gels sometimes leave behind. The silicone free, VOC compliant formula is gentle enough for sensitive paint systems and even works on marine gelcoat and RV paint. Pair the gel with a medium foam pad to refine any remaining defects from the first step, working toward a mirror-smooth finish. Use Gel 2 Quarz after Gel 1 Zephir on heavier damage, or as a first step on lighter wash-induced scratches and water damage. Finish with Gel 4 Diamond Ultra Fine for the highest gloss within the complete BigFoot system. Available in 250ml.

How to use

1. Attach a medium foam pad and place a few dots of gel on it. (Spread it across the panel at low speed first.)

2. Work at medium speed in sections of around 40 by 40 centimeters. (Let the pad do the work, don't add extra pressure.)

3. Wipe off the residue with a microfiber towel. (Check the panel for any remaining scratches or halos under bright light.)

4. Follow up with Gel 4 Diamond Ultra Fine for the final gloss step. (This brings the highest gloss within the BigFoot system.)

Finish with Gel 4 Diamond Ultra Fine on a yellow Rupes DA foam pad, mount a backing plate for the Bigfoot system, and check your work under a bright PDR inspection lamp.
