When a foam pad cannot reach the depth of the damage, a Koch Chemie Lambs Wool Polishing Pad delivers the cutting power to work through deep scratches, sanding marks and severe oxidation. The long wool fibres generate high friction and cutting capacity while dissipating heat more efficiently than closed-cell foam. The 80 mm size fits a standard small backing plate for spot correction or use on a DA orbital machine. Compatible with both rotary and DA polishers via Velcro attachment. Also available in 125 mm and 150 mm for different machine sizes and applications.

How to use

1. Attach the pad to the backing plate via Velcro (Confirm the pad is seated before switching on)

2. Apply heavy-cut compound to pad and panel (4 to 6 small dots per 40x40 cm panel)

3. Spread at low speed, then polish in straight passes at working speed (Rotary: 900-1200 rpm; DA: setting 4-5)

4. Clean the pad mid-panel with a brush and check the surface (Follow heavy cut with a medium-cut pad and polish to remove holograms)

Use the lambs wool pad together with Koch Chemie Heavy Cut Polish and a Menzerna medium polish on a finishing pad for the complete paint correction sequence.
