Flex BP-M/R D125 Backing Plate 125mm

This original BP-M/R D125 backing plate from Flex is made for the XCE and XFE polishers, in 125mm size. The hard outer shell provides rigidity, while the soft foam inner layer supports polishing and absorbs vibration during use. At just 0.1 kg, the plate adds barely any extra mass to your machine, which pays off during longer polishing sessions. The backing plate ships with the matching mounting bolt, so you can fit it straight away without ordering extra parts. Functionally identical to other Flex XFE backing plates in our range, but listed under the specific BP-M/R D125 model number for the XCE/XFE line.

How to use

1. Turn off the polisher and unscrew the old backing plate using the mounting bolt. (Make sure the machine has come to a full stop before loosening the bolt.)

2. Fit the new BP-M/R D125 backing plate onto the machine. (Make sure the plate sits flush against the shaft for a secure connection.)

3. Tighten the mounting bolt firmly and check the plate spins true before you start polishing. (A plate that spins true prevents unnecessary vibration and an uneven polishing result.)
