A low profile with a beveled edge lets the plate and pad reach tight spots around trim and body lines that a bulkier plate would miss. It works with all foam and microfiber polishing pads that use hook and loop attachment, and it also accepts upholstery brushes for interior cleaning work on the same machine.

How to use

1. Attach the backing plate to the shaft of your TORQ22D polisher. (Make sure the shaft and the back of the plate are clean and dry.)

2. Click a foam or microfiber hook and loop pad onto the plate. (Press the pad down evenly so it clicks into place all around.)

3. Apply compound or polish to the pad and start the machine at low speed. (Work in overlapping passes and keep the machine flat against the surface.)

4. Clean the plate of compound residue after use before the next session. (This stops dried residue from interfering with your next session.)

Pair this backing plate with a Lake Country CCS polishing pad and Koch-Chemie P2.03 polish, then buff off with a thick microfiber towel.
