Flex XC 3401 VRG 4 Inch (110mm) OEM Backing Plate

This OEM backing plate replaces the original plate on your Flex XC 3401 VRG polisher. The 4 inch (110mm) plate is molded from durable plastic with a urethane cushion that absorbs vibration and heat while you polish. The geared design delivers a genuine dual action motion, so your machine runs smoother and you get better control over pad pressure. Hook and loop covers the full surface, edge to edge, keeping your polishing pad locked in place even at higher speeds. Swap out a worn or damaged plate to cut vibration and extend the working life of your polisher.

How to use

1. Hold down the locking button on the machine, then loosen and remove the screw completely.

2. Lift the worn backing plate straight off the drive shaft.

3. Line up the new plate on the vertical slot so it seats correctly, then lightly tighten the screw.

4. Press the locking clip in and tighten the screw fully.

Pair this plate with a 4 inch Hex-Logic polishing pad, a Koch-Chemie polish and a grey microfiber towel, then lock it in with JetSeal sealant.
