Chemical Guys MPT Light Polishing Pad Blue 150mm

The blue MPT Light Polishing Pad works glazes and light surface cleansers into a super-fine finish, used after the correction step with the yellow or white pad. The open-cell foam shares the same consistent pore size as the rest of the MPT lineup, but in a softer compound that cuts less and polishes more. At 150 mm diameter and 3.75 cm thickness, the pad stays stable at higher machine speeds. Pair it with an ultra-fine polish to remove the last hairline marks after correction.

How to use

1. Mount the pad on a 150 mm backing plate and attach it to your polisher.

2. Apply 3 to 5 drops of ultra-fine polish or glaze spread across the pad.

3. Work in sections of about 40x40 cm at moderate speed until the polish turns clear.

4. Wipe off the residue with a clean microfiber towel for a mirror-smooth finish.

Pair it with the V38 Final Polish and a soft hand applicator for the final finishing pass.
