Chemical Guys MPT Finishing Pad Red 150mm

The red MPT Finishing Pad is the softest pad in the Chemical Guys MPT lineup and isn't for correction, but for applying wax, sealant and cream wax. The ultra-soft open-cell foam stays in full contact with the paint, so you apply an even layer of product with minimal pressure. At 150 mm diameter and 3.75 cm thickness, the pad stays stable at low to moderate machine speeds. Use it as the final step, after correction with the yellow, white or blue pad.

How to use

1. Mount the pad on a 150 mm backing plate and attach it to your polisher.

2. Apply 2 to 3 drops of wax or sealant spread across the pad.

3. Work at low speed in sections of about 40x40 cm until the product is evenly spread.

4. Let it haze briefly, then buff off with a clean microfiber towel.

Pair it with Pete's 53 Black Pearl wax and a 150 mm backing plate for the final step.
