Chemical Guys V38 Optical Grade Final Polish 118ml

Chemical Guys V38 Optical Grade Waterbased Final Polish is an ultra-fine finishing polish built for the 3500 to 4500 grit range. You use V38 as the last step after a cutting polish such as V36, to remove the remaining light swirls and holograms for a clear, deep finish. The formula contains no silicone and no wax, so you see exactly what the polishing result looks like without fillers masking it. Thanks to the dust-free formula, there is barely any extra cleanup needed after polishing, and the long working time gives you room to finish the panel calmly before the product dries. Application works by hand or with a polishing machine (DA or rotary), with a machine giving the most even end result. The polish is body-shop safe and safe on clear paint, classic clearcoats and ceramic coatings. Because no extra cleaning step is needed thanks to the dust-free formula, you can move straight on to a sealant or wax. The 118ml flip-cap bottle is compact enough to always keep in your detailing bag.

How to use

1. Use V38 as the final step after a cutting polish such as V36, on paint that is washed and dry with no residue from earlier polishing products.

2. Apply a few drops of V38 to a clean, soft finishing pad and spread it over a section of roughly 60 by 60 centimetres.

3. Work the polish by hand or with a polishing machine (DA or rotary) in overlapping passes with light pressure until the last swirls disappear and the paint looks clear.

4. Wipe off any residue with a clean microfiber towel and move straight on to a sealant or wax, since the dust-free formula means no further cleaning is needed.

Finish V38 with a Hex-Logic Quantum finishing pad, a Chemical Guys backing plate adapter, an edgeless microfiber towel and a Top Coat sealant to lock in the shine.
