Chemical Guys MPT Polishing Pad White 150mm

The white MPT Polishing Pad is the most-used pad in the Chemical Guys MPT lineup and the bridge between heavy cutting and pure finishing. The open-cell foam has lighter cutting power than the yellow pad, making it your go-to for pre-wax cleaners, fine polish and sealants. At 150 mm diameter and 3.75 cm thickness, the pad stays stable even at higher machine speeds. Use it as a middle step after correction, or as the only step on paint that just needs a bit more gloss and clarity.

How to use

1. Mount the pad on a 150 mm backing plate and attach it to your polisher.

2. Apply 4 drops of pre-wax cleaner or fine polish spread across the pad.

3. Work in sections of about 40x40 cm at moderate speed until the product works in clear.

4. Wipe off the residue with a microfiber towel before applying a wax or sealant.

Pair it with the V36 Cutting Polish and a hand applicator for the pre-wax step.
