Rupes DA Microfiber Polishing Pad Soft

The Rupes DA Microfiber Polishing Pad Soft is the final step in the Rupes DA microfiber system and delivers maximum gloss, reflection and depth once a coarse and medium pad have finished the correction work. The white microfiber is designed to slightly increase cutting power on this last finishing pass, so you get an even, high gloss result without introducing new swirls. This pad also has a foam interface between the velcro backing and the microfiber, spreading machine pressure evenly for a consistent result. It suits dual action polishers and comes in 130mm and 160mm with a 12mm thickness, fitting most common backing plates. Use this soft pad as the closing step after coarse and medium, or on its own on paint that only needs a finishing polish, for the deepest, clearest gloss result.

How to use

1. Attach the pad to a clean 130mm or 160mm backing plate and apply two to three drops of finishing polish onto the pad.

2. Spread the polish first at low speed over a section of roughly 40 by 40 centimeters. (This lets the finishing polish soak evenly into the microfiber before you continue.)

3. Work the section at low to medium speed with light pressure until the paint takes on a clear, deep gloss.

4. Buff off with a clean microfiber towel and check the result under direct light.

Pair this pad with Rupes DA Fine Cut polish and a Krauss micro backing plate, then buff off with a Chemical Guys Elegant microfiber towel.
