The Leather Expert Leather Flexi Filler is a flexible filler for repairing shallow scratches, cracks and small holes in damaged leather. The product is white while you apply it, but dries fully transparent, making it suitable for any leather color without needing to color match first. Because the filler stays flexible once cured, it does not crack along with the natural movement of the leather the way a hard filler would, something that matters on a car seat or steering wheel. Flexi Filler is part of a complete repair system: after cleaning and degreasing you first fill the damage, then color and finish with a top coat. Importantly, never sand Flexi Filler, unlike a rigid filler. For deeper holes it is better to use the sturdier Leather Filler in thin, successive layers. Available in a handy 25 ml tube, ideal for smaller repairs.
One tube of Leather Expert Leather Flexi Filler, 25 ml, a flexible filler for shallow leather repair.
Stays flexible once cured: does not crack along with the natural movement of the leather
Dries fully transparent: white on application, fully invisible once completely cured
Suitable for any leather color: no color matching needed before you start filling
Fills scratches, cracks and small holes: repairs shallow damage quickly and convincingly
Part of a complete repair system: pairs with cleaner, colorant and top coat
Clean the leather with a leather cleaner and then degrease with an alcohol cleaner (This gives the filler optimal grip on a clean, grease-free surface)
Apply the Flexi Filler with a spatula onto dry leather (Work the filler evenly into the damage without leaving excess material behind)
Let the filler dry completely before coloring (If the leather shrinks a bit, apply another thin coat of Flexi Filler)
Color the repair with a leather colorant and seal with a top coat (Work in 3 to 4 thin coats that must each dry fully before the next)
Wear nitrile gloves during the repair and dose accurately with a measuring cup for consistent results.
