The Leather Expert Leather Glue is a strong polyurethane-based leather glue, developed to bond multiple layers of leather firmly together. The glue offers extremely high adhesive power and suits both professional use in a leather workshop and the home user tackling a small repair. Think of securing a loose seam, reattaching a lifted leather edge, or fixing a new patch of leather over a damaged spot. The practical packaging lets you dose the glue precisely and economically, so you do not waste product on larger areas than needed. The glue works on both small and large leather pieces, from a small corner of trim to a complete seat panel. Once cured, the bond stays firm and withstands the normal tension and movement leather goes through in a car. Available in a handy 50 ml bottle.
One bottle of Leather Expert Leather Glue, 50 ml, a polyurethane leather glue for professional and home repairs.
Polyurethane base: extremely high adhesive power for durable, long-lasting leather repairs
Suits small and large jobs: from a loose edge to a full seat panel
Practical packaging: precise dosing without wasting excess product during use
For professional and home use: works just as well in the workshop as at home
Firm bond once cured: withstands the normal tension and movement of leather
Clean and degrease both leather surfaces you plan to glue (Grease or dust on the leather significantly reduces the glue's adhesive power)
Apply a thin, even layer of glue to one of the two surfaces (Too much glue will still squeeze out along the edges once you press the pieces together)
Press the leather pieces firmly together and hold them under pressure for a few minutes (Use a clamp or a weight if needed for even pressure across the whole surface)
Let the bond cure fully for at least a few hours before putting any load on the leather (Full adhesive strength is usually reached only after a full 24 hour drying time)
Wear nitrile gloves while gluing and lift away excess glue right away with a microfiber towel.
