The Hex-Logic Quantum Soft Polishing Pad Blue from Chemical Guys is a 5.5-inch blue foam pad exclusively for applying glaze. It removes no paint and corrects no defects. Once your paint is free of swirls after the correction stage, you use this pad to work in a glaze that adds depth and colour richness. The hexagonal Hex-Logic grooves spread glaze evenly across the pad with every rotation. The Race Face cone profile ensures stable contact. The central ventilation hole keeps the pad cooler. Fits any DA polisher with a 5.5-inch backing plate.

How to use

1. Attach the pad to your DA machine (5.5-inch backing plate) and lightly dampen it with a pad conditioner.

2. Apply 3 to 4 small dots of glaze (e.g. Black Light or White Light) to the pad surface. (The Hex-Logic grooves handle even distribution during operation.)

3. Spread the glaze at low speed across roughly 40 x 40 cm, then increase to speed 2-3 to work it in. (Light pressure is sufficient. This pad removes no paint.)

4. Remove glaze residue with a soft microfibre towel.

After glazing with this pad, protect the paint with a sealant using the black finishing pad, remove residue with a microfibre towel, and combine with a finishing polish like Menzerna Super Finish Plus for the full sequence.
