Bilt Hamber Dynax-UB Underbody Wax 5 L

Dynax-UB is Bilt Hamber's anti-corrosion wax for underbodies, wheel arches, and hollow sections. The translucent brown film protects the metal without blocking your view of the surface beneath, during inspections or restorations you can see at a glance whether new corrosion is developing.

The formula contains highly polar corrosion inhibitors that arrest existing rust and slow further degradation. Thanks to the self-healing property, minor film damage seals itself, keeping protection intact even after mechanical stress. The flexible film resists cracking under vibration or temperature changes, making it suitable for daily drivers and classic vehicles used year-round. Target a dry film thickness of 80 to 100 microns for reliable long-term protection.

How to use

1. Thoroughly clean the underbody (Remove dirt, grease, and salt with a pressure washer. Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.)

2. Remove loose rust and flaking coating (Use a wire brush or sanding disc to remove loose rust and old coating remnants. Firmly adhered rust is not a barrier, the corrosion inhibitors are effective on this substrate as well.)

3. Apply the first coat (Work with a wide brush or roller. Ensure an even coat that reaches all seams and crevices. Use an injection gun for hollow sections.)

4. Allow 24 hours to dry, then apply a second coat (After 24 hours apply a second coat. Aim for a total dry film thickness of 80 to 100 microns for adequate protection.)

Pair Dynax-UB with Bilt Hamber Touch-Less Snow Foam for a clean base, D-CON V4 Wheel Cleaner for alloys, and Ranex Rustbuster to pre-treat active rust before coating.
