Bilt Hamber Dynax-UC is the transparent anti-corrosion wax of the Dynax range: see-through, so you use it on visible areas without leaving a dark film. Think wheel arch lips, sills, jacking points, chrome, suspension and wheels. It is safe on bare metal and over paint. You will find the Bilt Hamber Dynax-UC in the shop.
What Dynax-UC does
Where Dynax-UB gives a dark, opaque film, Dynax-UC stays virtually see-through: at a dry film thickness of around 50 microns you barely notice it. It cures to a firm, candle-wax-like film and is full of metal-seeking corrosion inhibitors that arrest existing corrosion and prevent new corrosion. Because it goes safely over most paints, you protect exactly the visible areas without spoiling the appearance.
How to use it
Clean. Degrease the surface, for example with Bilt Hamber Surfex HD, rinse thoroughly and wipe with white spirit.
Apply. From the aerosol with the 145mm straw for awkward spots; spray in fine, light coats rather than one heavy coat. The aerosol also works upside down.
Cure. UC cures in 24 to 96 hours; the vehicle can be used after 30 minutes if needed.
Check. Go over the treated areas and touch up thin spots with an extra light coat.
UC or UB: visible or hidden
Choose Dynax-UC where the protection must stay invisible: visible panels, wheel arch lips, sills, wheels and chrome. For the hidden underbody, where colour does not matter and firmness counts, the dark Bilt Hamber Dynax-UB is the logical, cheaper choice. Clean up with white spirit or an alkaline degreaser.
