Bilt Hamber Atom-Mac Corrosion Inhibitor

Atom-Mac is a migratory and contact corrosion inhibitor that you dilute in water before use. For cars, mix 2 to 5% with water and spray it onto the surfaces for optimal protection; for motorcycles and bicycles, use 1 to 2%. The product is safe on all painted surfaces and also protects enclosed spaces and cavities where moisture collects. Powerful vapour-phase corrosion inhibitors spread out from the product and form an invisible shield against corrosion on ferrous metals. This protects the underbody, water-collecting cavities, brake surfaces, suspension, bicycles, garden equipment and machinery, wherever corrosion can occur. It's also suitable for protecting the underbody against road salt during winter.

How to use

1. Mix Atom-Mac with water: 2 to 5% for cars, 1 to 2% for motorcycles and bicycles. (Use a chemical-resistant spray bottle to make mixing and distributing the solution easier.)

2. Spray the mixture onto the surfaces you want to protect, paying extra attention to the underbody, cavities and water-collecting areas. (Pay extra attention to hinges, cables and other spots where water tends to sit.)

3. Let the product soak in so the vapour-phase inhibitors can spread to hard-to-reach spots. (A dry, well-ventilated space speeds up this process.)

4. Repeat the treatment before winter to build up extra protection against road salt. (Check after winter whether the underbody needs a fresh treatment.)
