Microstar is Mirka's film sanding disc for matting and correcting paint and clear coat. The smooth film backing, aluminium oxide grain and stearate top coating keep the disc from clogging as quickly as regular sandpaper and make it last longer. P1500 is the mid step after P1200, refining the scratch pattern towards a polishable finish before you move on to P2000. The 150mm disc runs dry on a random orbital sander with hook and loop attachment, so you can switch grits quickly. The even grain spread gives a consistent scratch pattern across the whole panel, with less risk of burning through than with coarser sanding methods. Each pack contains 50 discs, enough for several panels or a full paint correction job. Always pair P1500 with an interface pad to spread pressure and protect contoured areas.
