The Mirka Iridium Soft P1500 is a flexible sanding pad that follows every line, curve and corner of the surface. The ceramic / aluminium oxide grain sits on a multi-hole backing for efficient dust extraction, so the pad doesn't clog. The patented structure ensures strong grain bonding and a long service life, even under heavy use. You use the pad as an intermediate step after a coarser grit, to smooth paint or primer before the finer finishing stage. The semi-open coating captures dust directly, keeping the pad sharp for longer. Available in 150, 125 and 77 mm, with 20 pads per pack.

How to use

1. Mount the pad on your orbital sander with dust extraction and make sure it's securely fitted.

2. Sand with light, even pressure in overlapping passes over paint or primer.

3. Connect the sander to a vacuum for optimal dust extraction while you work.

4. Replace the pad once the grain noticeably cuts less, to keep results consistent.
