Mirka Abranet Sanding Net P800

With P800 grit you remove the last small imperfections from clear coat or primer, right before polishing. The open Abranet mesh stays dust-free while sanding thanks to continuous extraction, so you keep a clear view of the surface and avoid oversanding. Because the net does not clog, you get a consistently fine sanding pattern without deep scratches you would otherwise have to polish out later. Ideal as the final step before bringing back the shine with a polisher and compound.

How to use

1. Attach the net to the hook and loop disc on your sander, with dust extraction connected. (Make sure the extraction holes line up with the backing pad for the best dust removal.)

2. Sand with light pressure in overlapping passes, let the machine do the work. (Too much pressure heats up the surface and raises the risk of sanding through to the layer below.)

3. Check the surface regularly by feel and sight; move on to polishing once it feels evenly matte. (This keeps you from staying too long in one spot and removing material unevenly.)

Pair it with a polisher, a blue polishing pad and compound to move straight into polishing after sanding.
