Mirka Abranet Sanding Net P1000

P1000 grit is the finest step right before polishing: it removes the last, barely visible imperfections from fresh clear coat or an already pre-sanded surface. The open Abranet mesh stays dust-free while sanding, so you can see and feel exactly when the surface is level enough. Because the net does not clog, you get a constant, predictable cut without surprises like sudden deeper scratches. This grit works especially well for color sanding on new paintwork or removing very light P600/P800 marks.

How to use

1. Attach the net to the hook and loop disc on your sander, with dust extraction connected. (Make sure the extraction holes line up with the backing pad for the best dust removal.)

2. Sand with minimal pressure in overlapping passes over the pre-sanded surface. (At this fine grit, too much pressure alone is enough to create unwanted deeper scratches.)

3. Check regularly with your fingertip whether the surface feels fully even before moving on to polishing. (If you still feel imperfections, sand that spot once more before continuing.)

Finish up with a fine polishing pad, finishing compound and a detail lamp to check the result closely.
