The D-CON Flat Foam Pad Light Cutting (bordeaux, 125mm) fits the polishing cycle when paint defects call for a gentle approach. Holograms, wash swirls, and minor surface imperfections are removed with less paint removal than an orange cutting pad. Rounded edges follow body lines precisely. Use it as the mildest correction step in the D-CON 125mm range, or as a bridge between medium polish and finishing. Compatible with a 5-inch backing plate on rotary and DA machines.

How to use

1. Attach the pad to a 5-inch backing plate and mount on your polishing machine.

2. Apply 3-4 small dots of light cutting or medium polish to the pad. (Spread the product at low machine speed before starting the working pass.)

3. Work the surface in overlapping passes at low to medium machine speed. (Keep the pad moving for even correction without heat build-up.)

4. Remove residue with a clean microfiber towel and check for remaining holograms or swirls.

Pair it with Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500 for light correction, the Liquid Elements T4200 as your machine, and a D-CON microfiber towel for the inspection wipe.
