The D-CON Flat Foam Pad Heavy Cutting (125mm, yellow) is the most aggressive foam pad in the D-CON 125mm range. Use it when a standard cutting pad cannot remove deeper scratches, heavy oxidation or swirl marks that have survived multiple polishing passes. The firm foam structure works with heavy compounds to cut through paint defects quickly. Rounded edges help prevent edge marks on the paint. A finishing step always follows this pad.

How to use

1. Apply 3-4 pumps of heavy compound to the pad. (Spread the compound evenly across the paint section before switching on the machine.)

2. Start at low speed (1-2) to spread the compound, then increase to working speed (3-4). (Work in 40x40cm sections and make 2-3 passes until the compound is nearly transparent.)

3. Remove compound residue with a clean microfiber towel.

4. Always follow up with a softer pad and lighter polish to remove holograms. (The heavy cutting pad always leaves marks that you eliminate in a second step.)
