The D-CON Delta Cutting Hand Applicator Pad in grey is built for the cutting stage of paint correction: removing swirl marks, oxidation, light scratches, and marring by hand. The delta triangle shape gives your fingers grip and lets you apply precise pressure on curved panels and tight edges.

The grey, firm cutting foam at 25mm thick cuts harder than a white finishing pad, making it the ideal first step in a two-stage polishing process. Follow up with a soft finishing pad for the mirror-smooth result.

How to use

1. Thoroughly clean the surface (Wash the car, remove tar spots, and optionally clay bar the paint for a smoother surface.)

2. Apply compound or cutting polish to the pad (Press a small amount of compound (about 2-3 pea-sized drops) onto the grey cutting surface.)

3. Work the paint in circles or overlapping passes (Use moderate pressure and work in small sections of about 30x30cm for best results.)

4. Remove residue and proceed to the finishing step (Wipe away excess compound with a clean microfiber towel, then use a white finishing pad.)
