D-CON Crazy Wool Pad

The D-CON Crazy Wool Pad is a polishing pad made from 100% wool, built up from hundreds of twisted wool strands. Wool cuts more aggressively than foam and builds up heat through friction faster, letting you level heavily oxidized, dull or freshly sanded paint quickly. The pad attaches to your backing plate with hook-and-loop and is used by professional bodyshops and enthusiasts alike for the heaviest correction step. Once the wool gets caked with compound, brush it out with a spur tool or wire brush at the lowest machine speed so the pad cuts like new again. The D-CON Crazy Wool Pad is available in multiple sizes, from small spot pads to full 200mm machine pads.

How to use

1. Attach the wool pad centered and flat on the backing plate of your polisher (A crooked attachment causes vibration while spinning)

2. Apply compound and work in at the lowest speed (Wool builds heat faster, so start gently and increase gradually)

3. Brush the pad out once it's caked with compound (Use a spur tool or wire brush at the lowest speed, machine preferably off during manual cleaning)
