Bilt Hamber Highbild Filler Primer

Highbild is a high-build primer from Bilt Hamber, made to fill imperfections in the surface before you spray the topcoat. The formula fills deep and sands easily afterwards, so you get a flat surface with fewer coats. Highbild bonds to bare metal, existing paint layers and filler, which makes it suitable for restoration, repair and full paint preparation in one product. Always test on a small area first to check the primer bonds well with your specific surface and coating. Degrease bare steel thoroughly with a solvent before you start. Sand existing paint layers wet or dry with 280 to 400 grit before applying Highbild, for the best adhesion and an even result once sanded.

How to use

1. Degrease bare metal thoroughly with a suitable solvent (Remove all grease and oil before applying the primer)

2. Sand existing paint layers with 280 to 400 grit, wet or dry (This gives the primer enough grip to bond well)

3. Spray Highbild in 2 to 3 thin coats (Test first on a small, inconspicuous area)

4. Let it dry and sand the final coat flat (This gives you an even surface for the topcoat)

Pair Highbild with Kovax masking tape for sharp edges while spraying.
